Those who wants to keep their money in Fixed Deposit with the Bank may open Fixed Deposit account with the Bank. As on 31/03/2009, Bank has 53573 Fixed Deposit accounts with total Deposits of Rs. 18904.42 lakhs. Apart from the applicable interest rates on deposits, ½% interest rates is given extra on deposits to Sr. Citizens.

Tax Saving under 80c, the terms deposit for min 5 years.
For Senior citizens and social communities will get 0.5% extra interest rate.
